Theatre Arts Award

Each year, Davis Musical Theatre Company presents two $500 "Theatre Arts Awards". Each award is presented to a graduating high school senior who has demonstrated a significant contribution to the Davis Musical Theatre Company.

In order to be considered for the award, the applicant must meet the following critera, and submit the required application materials by March 1, 2024:

Applicant Criteria

• Applicant must be a graduating high school senior
• Applicant must have participated in Davis Musical Theatre Company in a minimum of 5 DMTC productions (Main Stage and/or Young Performer’s Theatre) in any of the following roles:
  • Actor
  • Musician
  • Student Choreography
  • Student Directing
  • Student Musical Directing
  • Summer Workshop Assistant
  • Technical Production (costumes, props, sets, lights, sound, etc.)
  • Any leadership role (stage manager, assistant stage manager, dance captain, etc.)

If you meet the above qualifications, we invite you to apply for a DMTC Theatre Arts Award. (Please Note: All candidates must meet a minimum 75% total score which is determined by a scoring panel using a pre-established scoring rubric. If no candidates meet the minimum requirements, award monies may be rolled over to the next year.)
