YPT COVID Protocols
** Guidance may change as CDC, California State, and Yolo County guidance changes **
- All performers participating in a YPT production will wear a mask during auditions, rehearsals, and shows.
- Beginning January 10, 2022, all performers must be vaccinated (have 2 vaccines by 1/10/22).
- All volunteers must be vaccinated.
- Everyone entering the theater will wear a mask that meets Yolo County mask guidelines.
- All performers will test and report the results twice per week.
- Tests must be spaced ~3 days apart.
- Regular negative test results must be on record for continued participation.
- Free testing is provided by Healthy Davis Together https://healthydavistogether.org/testing/
-
Tests performed by an authorized testing facility (Healthy Davis/Yolo, medical provider, pharmacy, etc.) are preferred. However, if a home test is used, it must meet Yolo County
guidelines to be accepted (have the name of the person being tested, date/time collected, and result included in the photo of the test).
- All production team members including parent volunteers will provide a negative COVID-19 test result 72 hours prior to a work shift.
- All performers and YPT volunteers/parents/guardians must self-certify NO to the following questions to be allowed to enter DMTC (Note:
If you answer Yes to any of these, you must have a negative COVID test prior to entering the building, as well as not be subject to any quarantine or isolation rules.):
-
Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Are you isolating or quarantining because you tested positive for COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?
- Have you been in close physical contact in the last 14 days with:
- Anyone who is known to have laboratory confirmed COVID-19?
- Anyone who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19?
- A positive test or exposure will result in following current county quarantine procedures. This may cause performers to miss one or more performances due to quarantine; in that event an understudy will be used.
- Performers with a recent positive test will have a modified testing policy for 90 days following the positive test, due to the nature of the tests.
